Dr. Karim earned her Medical Degree from the University of CairoFaculty of Medicine in 1993 and completed her training in internal medicine and medical oncology at the National Cancer Institute in Cairo. After completing her residency in internal medicine at Fairview-Cleveland Clinic Hospitals in Ohio, she joined the University of Cincinnati as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. From 2018 to 2022, Dr. Karim held the position of Professor of Medicine and Director of Thoracic Oncology at the Medical College of Georgia, where she led numerous clinical trials and translational research projects. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards in patient care.
